Confirmed product privacy facts:

• Your journal, trades, screenshots and chats are stored on your own computer, not in the cloud.
• Your broker API key is kept in your computer’s secure keychain.
• magnum opus reads your TopstepX account but can never place, change or cancel trades.
• When you use the AI, your message and charts are sent through our AI service to Anthropic to generate the reply.
• We don’t store message content, only usage counts (prompts used and cost) for your plan limit.
• Economic calendar and news come from public sources.
